Coteaching improves students’ school placement grades
Coteaching results in more horizontal power relationships between teachers, university tutors and students, with the result that students grow in confidence and independence.
Teachers and University tutors are also working more closely together which results in enhanced partnerships between schools and Universities. (See “Loretta Kelly…” on the next page.)
University tutors get the opportunity to develop and update their own teaching skills by joining in as coteachers when they visit students in schools.
