Welcome to this AZSTT Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU)

This CPDU has been produced by Marjorie Smith from ‘Science and Plants for Schools’ (SAPS). The CPDU is based on a project called ‘Let’s Talk’ which has been supported by the Wellcome Trust’s ‘Engaging Science’ grants scheme

'Let's Talk' is a series of activities designed to encourage young people to:

• Evaluate environmental and scientific issues.
• Make informed choices and decisions.
• Learn independently and as part of a group.
• Work in partnership and in teams.
