 
The AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust provides financial assistance to help
improve the learning and teaching of science in the UK.
Dame Bridget Ogilvie , says:
"AstraZeneca believes that science should be an integral and
vital part of the school curriculum.
Knowledge and understanding of science is important for all of
us and the AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust recognises the crucial
role of good science teaching in achieving this.
The Trust is particularly pleased to mark the new Millennium
by supporting the teaching of science in primary schools."
The AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust is currently funding two
types of project designed to improve science learning and teaching
in primary schools.
