Group Discussion in Science - developing teacher and pupil confidence - West Dunbartonshire Council

The aim of this project is to support the authority's introduction of a thinking skills programme in science by developing pupil group discussion skills and teacher confidence in the management of group discussion in science. The project will work collaboratively with an existing authority working group established to improve talking and listening skills across the curriculum. Within the one authority cluster, a working party will be formed to include the science co-ordinators from participating primary schools, science teachers from the secondary school and members of the authority Talking and Listening working party.
