Science clubs can be a fun way of getting children involved in science through hands-on and practical investigation. However, the word science club may seem daunting to some.
This CPDU is created as an introduction to what a science club is, the benefits of running a science club and how a typical science club can be run. It showcases videos of children in action during science club sessions and interviews with science club leaders who share their experience and benefits of running a science club in their schools.
This unit also provides you with a clear understanding of the resources available in the CREST
Investigators packs and how to use them as well as providing links to other organisation and websites that provides quality resources.
