The ideas and materials presented on this website have arisen from a coordinated programme of classroom based action research conducted over the past two years in fourteen different primary and secondary schools from across Hampshire.
This particular programme of action research was generously sponsored by the AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust. It focussed upon developing the pedagogy and resources of our Thinking Frames Approach to become a method to improve pupil progression during the transfer form KS2 to KS3.
