For the Thinking Frames Approach to work it is vital that both the teacher and the pupils understand what exactly is required by a particular question.
Understanding the differences between WHAT, HOW and WHY questions is key to the success of using the Thinking Frames Approach in your classroom. Each of the three types of question requires that we use the Thinking Frames Approach in a different way and will produce a different explanation as an outcome.
