A STEM approach to teaching science and technology at primary/secondary transition

Project Diary

  • The project involved 5 secondary schools working with 10 feeder primary schools to undertake CPD activities on energy, robotics and control activities. Project Summary

This project has been created to work with teachers from secondary schools and teachers from their partner primary schools on a designated programme of transition activities. These activities are designed to improve knowledge and understanding of each others science and technology curriculum (crucial CPD) and to aid the difficult transition between years 6 and 7.  For sustainability the resources will be available for project schools to use after completion along with dissemination strategies to share and encourage other schools to participate across the South West region.
